Amidst the challenging circumstances faced by the Rohingya people residing in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, BASMAH FOUNDATION has stepped in to address their critical health needs. With approximately 1.3 million individuals living in camps under precarious conditions, access to healthcare remains severely limited, leaving them particularly susceptible to various ailments.
In a concerted effort to alleviate this dire situation, BASMAH FOUNDATION, in collaboration with International & Local NGOs, has established seven medical camps within the Rohingya Camp. These camps serve as vital hubs for delivering essential medical assistance to those in need. Through these facilities, a comprehensive range of services including primary medical care, provision of medicines, urgent medical attention, and health education are extended to the Rohingya population.
The relentless efforts of BASMAH FOUNDATION have borne significant results, with over 500,000 patients receiving crucial medical support thus far. This initiative stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating unwavering commitment towards safeguarding the health and well-being of the Rohingya community amidst adversity.
